The subscription is not available yet and no payments can be made on this website. The waitlist is free, commits you to nothing and does not reserve any envelope or copy. These terms will apply once subscriptions open, and you will see them again before paying.

A subscription to a physical stationery mail club. Every edition always includes: a letter with an original work of fiction, presented narratively as recovered correspondence between characters and identical for every subscriber of that edition (it is not addressed to the subscriber), in English or Spanish as you choose; a separate note from Otto, handwritten on letterhead paper and personalised with the subscriber's name; one A5 sticker sheet; and two bookmarks. In addition, depending on the edition, it may include varying gifts or extra materials, with no specific extra guaranteed beyond the fixed items listed. The stories are created for the project. The contents and their design change every month; any images we show are for guidance only.

Editions are limited.

• Monthly: €12.90.
• Quarterly: €36.77 (5% off three months of the monthly plan).
• Six-monthly: €71.21 (8% off six months of the monthly plan).
• Annual: €139.32 (10% off twelve months of the monthly plan).

Prices include VAT and standard shipping within Spain. An initial maximum of 50 subscriptions is planned.

Quarterly, six-monthly and annual plans are paid in advance and include every monthly envelope in their period.

Otto's Lost Boxes and previous editions from the Archive may be bought individually, without a subscription, only while stocks last. Their price will be shown on each product. Sold-out editions cannot be bought.

• Base price: €12.90 per month, VAT included, with standard shipping within Spain included.
• Other European destinations: a surcharge of €3 per envelope. On quarterly, six-monthly and annual plans the surcharge applies to each envelope, multiplied by the number of envelopes in the period. Shipping outside Europe is not planned for now.

You will see the total amount, with every item broken down, before confirming payment. We will not unilaterally change the price of a plan you have already purchased.

The price of a plan you have already paid for is honoured until the end of its period. If the price changes for a renewal, we will tell you clearly, at least 3 months before charging it, and you can cancel the renewal at no cost.

This website has no active payment system today. Once subscriptions open, you will subscribe through this website's own form and card payments will be processed by Stripe. These terms apply only to purchases made on this website; if you join the club on a separate, independent platform, that platform's terms will apply.

The first payment is charged when you subscribe. Each plan renews automatically for the same period, with the corresponding charge, unless you cancel the renewal or change plan beforehand.

Envelopes ship on the 28th of each month. Only subscriptions paid by the 21st inclusive enter that month's edition; payments made from the 22nd onwards start with the edition of the 28th of the following month. The first edition will ship on 28 December 2026, to reach letterboxes in 2027. Before paying you will see which edition is your first and the dates that apply to you.

The cut-off date (which edition you receive first) is different from the date your plan's renewal is charged. The billing-cycle setup is still to be implemented, so that the same envelope is never charged twice and no edition is missed. [TO BE CONFIRMED: technical billing-cycle setup]

Only paid editions are shipped.

Quarterly, six-monthly and annual plans include a discount on the monthly subscription price, granted because the full period is paid for in advance. You may cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription at any time. Cancelling a prepaid plan does not entitle you to a pro rata refund of the remaining months, since the discount was granted for purchasing the full period. You will continue to receive the corresponding envelopes until the end of the period paid for, and no further charges will be made. All of the above is without prejudice to the statutory right of withdrawal, where applicable, and to any other consumer rights.

How to cancel: [TO BE CONFIRMED].

As a consumer, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving any reason. For a subscription with regular deliveries, the period runs from when you receive the first envelope.

To withdraw, email hola@saraarkana.com with a clear statement of your decision. We will refund all payments received, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of being told; we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof that they have been sent back. For an ordinary withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You must return the envelope complete: the letter, Otto's note, the sticker sheet, the bookmarks and every gift or item included. You may only handle them as much as needed to check their nature, characteristics and functioning. If items are missing or have deteriorated through handling beyond what is necessary, we may deduct from the refund a proven and proportionate diminution in value, in accordance with the law; we apply no automatic percentage and we do not refuse a refund because a minor item is missing.

If an envelope arrives because of our error, with a lack of conformity or faulty, this is not a withdrawal: all your consumer rights are respected and return costs are on us.

The law excludes goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. The story letter in each edition is the same for all subscribers and is not personalised. Otto's note bearing your name, or anything being handwritten, is not on its own enough for that exception to apply. If an envelope mixes personalised and non-personalised items, the exception does not automatically cover the whole envelope. Applying it to any product requires legal assessment, and you will be told before purchase. [TO BE CONFIRMED: legal assessment]

Products carry the three-year legal guarantee of conformity. If anything arrives faulty or doesn't match what you ordered, email hola@saraarkana.com and we will fix it at no cost to you.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
