Letters from Nowhere

A mail club of stories, letters and little treasures that arrive in your mailbox

There is a small post office that appears on no map, where letters arrive that never reached their destination. Every month I choose one of those stories and tuck it into an envelope. I'm Otto, and I make sure it gets there.

It's a snail mail subscription, real post: every month an envelope arrives at your door with a recovered letter, a handwritten note from Otto bearing your name, lovely stationery and little gifts.

You don't have to pay anything yet. Just leave me your email and I'll let you know when the deliveries begin.

The Story of Nowhere

Somewhere between what exists and what might have existed, there is a small post office that appears on no map.

Letters arrive there from everywhere. Some have crossed oceans. Others have travelled through decades. And a few come from places no one remembers ever visiting. They all share one thing: they never reached their destination.

Otto, a black cat with golden eyes, is the Chief of Correspondence of Nowhere. No one knows how long he has been there, or how he manages to find some of those letters. But every month he chooses a story that deserves to be read, prepares the envelope with care and sends it to a new recipient.

Because some stories shouldn't be left forgotten in a drawer. And perhaps one of them has been waiting to find its way to you.

Meet Otto

In a place that appears on no map, there is a small post office. Otto works there: a black cat with golden eyes, curious whiskers and an enormous responsibility — making sure no story ever fails to find its destination.

Otto doesn't write the letters: he keeps them. As Chief of Correspondence of Nowhere, he receives envelopes from ordinary towns and impossible corners, from a century ago or from last week. He sorts them carefully, checks the addresses and chooses who should receive them.

He is an exemplary postman. Well, almost always. Sometimes he falls asleep on the envelopes. But he never loses a good story.

— Otto, Chief of Correspondence of Nowhere

How it works

Every month, Otto rescues a letter from the archive and prepares a very special envelope. Inside you'll find a handwritten letter telling an original story, tucked in with lovely stationery, illustrations and small gifts that change with every edition. Some letters are deeply human; others carry something impossible between the lines. All of them were waiting for a mailbox, and this time it's yours.

Think of it as a snail mail club with a little magic in it. Your letters can arrive in English or Spanish, and every edition is limited: once it's gone, it doesn't come back.

  1. I

    A recovered letter

Every month, a complete story with its own sender, date and place, from any era or reality. It begins and ends in that envelope: you'll never be left waiting for an ending.

  2. II

A note from Otto, with your name

A few lines, handwritten on letterhead paper and bearing your name, on where the letter turned up and why I suspect you were meant to have it. No more than needed: some mysteries spoil when explained.

  3. III

    Stationery and small treasures

In every edition, always: one A5 sticker sheet and two bookmarks. And depending on the month, a surprise gift or extra material I've been keeping for you.

  4. IV

€12.90 a month, with discounts on longer plans

That's the regular monthly price, VAT and shipping within Spain included. Quarterly, six-monthly and annual plans come with a discount. Other European countries add a surcharge of €3 per envelope.

The Archive of Past Editions

Coming soon

This is where I'll keep whatever remains of the letters from months gone by: the same monthly editions our subscribers received, for anyone who arrived late or wants to complete their collection. You'll be able to buy them individually, with no subscription, while copies last. When one sells out, its page will stay here marked "Sold out". For now, the Archive is still closed.

Otto's Lost Boxes

Some parcels never reached their destination. A few were forgotten on the post office shelves; others turned up with no sender, wearing stamps from places that appear on no map. Every now and then, Otto rescues one of these little mysteries, case file and story included, and turns it into a special box full of stationery, treasures and surprises.

They aren't the monthly letter: they're extraordinary parcels from the same archive, limited special editions sold individually, with no subscription, at their own price.

Halloween Box

Found at the back of a shelf, wrapped in paper that smells of pumpkin and a freshly snuffed candle.

Christmas Box

It arrived on a snowy night, its stamp half faded and tied with a ribbon nobody remembers tying.

Questions I'm asked on the rooftops

When do deliveries start?

Your first letter will arrive in 2027! The first edition will leave my office on 28 December 2026, so it reaches your letterbox early in the year; everyone on the waitlist will hear from me before anyone else. After that, envelopes will ship on the 28th of each month. Subscriptions paid by the 21st inclusive enter that month's edition; anyone joining from the 22nd onwards starts with the following month's edition. Before paying you'll see your first edition and the dates.

What language are the letters in?

English or Spanish, whichever you prefer. You choose when you join the waitlist and can confirm it when subscriptions open.

Which countries do you ship to?

Deliveries are planned to Spain and selected European countries, depending on the feasibility of each destination. Choosing your country on the list doesn't guarantee delivery; I'll confirm final availability later.

Who writes the letters?

Psst… over here, behind the scenes: my name isn't Otto, it's Daniela. Truth be told, Otto doesn't do much work around here; he spends most of the day asleep on the envelopes, but he loves being the face of the place (and, fair enough, it's a lovely face). Honestly: the letters are original works of fiction, created for this club and handwritten. We present them as recovered letters because that's how they're best read. Each letter has its own sender and is the same for everyone who receives it that month; what carries your name is Otto's note alongside it. You don't need to have read the earlier ones. Now hush, he's waking up.

How much will it cost?

The monthly plan will cost €12.90, VAT and shipping within Spain included. There will also be quarterly (€36.77, 5% off), six-monthly (€71.21, 8% off) and annual (€139.32, 10% off) plans. Other European countries will add a surcharge of €3 per envelope, applied to every envelope of multi-month plans too. Lost Boxes and Archive editions will be sold separately, with no subscription, at their own price. Nothing is charged now: the waitlist is free.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel automatic renewal at any time: no further charges will be made and you will keep receiving the envelopes already paid for until your period ends. The details, including your right of withdrawal, are in the Terms and conditions.

Does joining commit me to anything?

No. The waitlist is free and without commitment: I'll let you know about the launch, but joining doesn't reserve or guarantee a copy. You can ask me to remove you whenever you like.
